Open access
(Redirected from Open Access)
Open Access is a very essential principle to sharing. It guarantees that everyone in general or the participants in a network have the right to access for example:
- how something is build;
- how someone can participate;
- how things work;
Open Access contrasts with for example patents, closed source and copyright, which all tend to narrow down opportunities for sharing.
