Heidemarie Schwermer is a woman from Germany (trained teacher and psychotherapist) who deals with sharing (and barter). She is somewhat famous for choosing a life without money. Started in 1996 as an experiment for one year, she has already been living without money for over ten years.

She has published some material on sharing. Among other things she wrote the book Das Sterntalerexperiment - mein Leben ohne Geld ("The star talers experiment - my life without money.") on how she started to live a life without money and the alternatives of sharing she found. (The money earned with the book was given away.) On her website there are more thoughts and information on sharing.
