Point for discussion:

  • If you share with a (closed) network do you then have the right to something in return? Or is it more gift-based, you give without the right to receive. Since you are part of a network with which you share, you might also expect that you get something in return. On the other hand, in networks such as hospitality exchange, you can never have the right to accommodation. But if you are part of a closed network where you share houses among members, you do have the right to access a house (except under certain exceptions such as it is full at the moment). Maybe this is a difference between between a cooperative and an open network --Robino 23:28, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
