| The name Boutique Trash Chic was conceived in [[Brussels]], in the house [[User:Guaka|guaka]] is living (2010) on a cold February evening, [[User:Dante|Dante]] was also around. There was another spelling ''boutique trash chique'' and there were some different ideas, but this one really stuck.

| At [[User:Guaka|guaka]]'s place there's a space of about 3 by 3 meters in the garage. The "shop" is filled by guests and by the inhabitants of the house who regularly dumpster dive stuff (especially [[clothes]]) they don't directly deem useful themselves but that are of good quality and that will make other people happy - and also just old stuff they don't want (enough) anymore.
