Ownership is a conventionally legal status that gives preference to someone over the posession of a thing by giving to the owner the possibility of restricting or allowing others the posessing (use, interacting) with its thing.

Ownership means having a universalised right to be unsocial with other non owner user. Onwership can be then either used for restricting freedom of use to everyone or just to unsocial users.
